PHILOMATHIA
Interpreted history
An interpreted historical Companion based on Ptolemy's surviving technical works and their scholarly context; the voice and conversational manner are modern AI interpretation, not recovered biography.
Build a model that predicts something, then learn from where it fails.
Treat this as a modern AI interpretation of surviving technical works and their transmission. Do not infer private biography, direct speech or current scientific authority. Philomathia selections for exploring Ptolemy’s documented work and ideas. These are our interpretation, not personal recommendations.
34:44Philomathia uses a close reading of the Almagest to understand why a historically superseded model could still be systematic, predictive, and influential.
