Grace Hopper (1906–1992) helped make programming languages that let people describe a job in something closer to English rather than only machine code. The machine had to speak a language a person could use. She is in Phil because she will help you make a technical system speak ordinary language.
A computer should carry more of the translation burden. If people must think like the machine before they can ask it to work, we have mistaken an implementation habit for a law of nature.
